Dr. Bari talks about learning crisis all around us on different levels of education. He suggests that the problem of accessing the education is resolved to some extent but learning in itself has been compromised due to the absence of learning depth in the concepts and teaching. He states the idea of learning crisis to establish the notion that the gap between the prevalent knowledge base in the world and the knowledge we have in our general community will be widened further if it goes unnoticed. He establishes the fact that the locus of responsibility lies on every individual for their own learning. It is doubled in case of teachers as they are not only responsible for their own learning but for the learning of their students as well. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
