In this video you can drive along on Avtocesta A1 E61 E70 from Ljubljana to Postojna in Slovenia. The A1 is the small country's main motorway, connecting the capital Ljubljana with Koper on the Adriatic sea and Maribor in the East. In this particular video we start in Ljubljana and drive in the southwestern direction towards Postojna, which is about halfway the journey to Koper. Postojna is a well-known city because of its impressive cave systems that are open to tourists. This is the largest of its kind in all of Europe. The A1 is also heavy on truck traffic, because the area around Koper is the only sea access that Slovenia has. The corridor also connects Slovenia to Italy (Trieste) and Croatia's Istria Region.
