Delhi's Lok Nayak Hospital, one of the major government hospitals, receives thousands of patients daily from different parts of Delhi NCR for tests and treatment. Patients are drawn here because all medicines are provided for free. However, for the past four months, patients have not been receiving medicines at the hospital. They are being asked to purchase medicines for conditions like cancer, diabetes, orthopedic issues, gynecological ailments, and even iron tablets from outside.
