How to Section Hike the AT thru West Virginia and Northern Virginia

While visiting Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, we had a chance to explore some of the Appalachian Trail that passes through this historic town and thought it would be a great opportunity to start planning our section hike through this region. We share the plan details here in this video in the hopes we can encourage more folks to get out and explore the trail. From finding shelters, campsites, water, points of interest, parking, and bathroom facilities, we cover it all here. We will post more detailed videos directly from the trail as we complete each hike to see what we got right in our planning and what we got wrong or missed!
