今年是国家公祭日设立10周年。2024年12月13日，是第11个南京大屠杀死难者国家公祭日。中共中央、国务院13日上午在南京隆重举行2024年南京大屠杀死难者国家公祭仪式。中共中央政治局委员、中宣部部长李书磊出席并讲话。公祭仪式在侵华日军南京大屠杀遇难同胞纪念馆集会广场举行。现场庄严肃穆，国旗下半旗。约8000名各界代表胸前佩戴白花，默然肃立。10时整，公祭仪式开始，奏唱中华人民共和国国歌。国歌唱毕，全场向南京大屠杀死难者默哀，南京市拉响防空警报，汽车停驶鸣笛，行人就地默哀。默哀毕，在解放军军乐团演奏的《国家公祭献曲》旋律中，解放军仪仗司礼大队16名礼兵抬起8个花圈，敬献于公祭台上。 This year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the National Memorial Day.
