Dynamic - What a Wonderful World

Danish jazz band Dynamic playing Bob Thiele's and George David Weiss' timeless standard, recorded live in rehearsal, September, 2020, with video contributions from our various smartphones. Katrine Rømhild wrote our vocal arrangement for the 2019 Copenhagen Jazz Festival as part of a call from STEM (created by Karin Juhl and Charlotte Munck) for all performing singers to include this song as a reminder of how precious but fragile our planet is. In late summer 2020 we spent a weekend practicing and composing at our friends' lovely farm house on Sjaellands Odde, and we felt inspired to record ourselves playing What a Wonderful World, first recorded by the great Louis Armstrong. Right now, just as at that time, the need for hope and solidarity is vital and growing. We hope our rendition brings you a little joy!
