An IND Thread Verification Station

A demonstration of an automated IND Station. This machine is designed to "GO" verify two parts that have M8 and MJ8 External Threads. VIND19 This is a New Vista IND machine. These two similar-looking parts are among many that can be run in this fast-changeover IND. This machine, as it is set up now, gages and sorts these threaded parts. The IND machine can also be set to chase (repair) parts with imperfections such as these. The parts are received from the feeding tube above. The parts are "GO" verified here. ...And they escape here to go on to the next process step. Note the compliant drive that adapts for threads that may be positionally or angularly misaligned. The customer didn't request a "NO GO" test, but if they had, it would go here. When a bad part fails the verification, it shows up on the HMI and is released into a reject bin.
