Travelling west to the outback - destination Charlotte Plains Station in South West of QLD

In this episode we leave the southeast corner of Queensland and head west just north of the NSW border. Our destination is Charlotte Plains with a few overnight stops on the way a total of 790 Kms. We had overnight stops at Toogoolawah and a pub just north of Toowoomba before moving onto a remote camp at Joe Bridge reserve about 70 kms west of Goondiwindi. This was a very nice camp site which we recommend for one of those quiet bush camps. From there we headed to Charlotte Plains campgrounds to enjoy their artesian bore swimming and walks etc at this charming station. However, the weather put a damper on our planned 3-night stay, and it was cut short as we left early to travel further west to try, unsuccessfully, to avoid the rain. This meant another 2 overnight stays both of which were at unplanned camp sites. We hope you enjoy this episode.
