You can switch on the different detection types: Color recognition Make & Model recognition Detect direction Select the trigger modes: Onboard Plate finder Software (API) Hardware (GPIO port) The trigger modes can be applied in parallel, with an "and" relationship between them. Use the mask drawn on the image to define the area (any shape) where the ANPR read should be performed. The mask will be displayed in green during point acquisition. For ANPR reading you need a detector. In the default settings, such a detector is fixed as Built-in ANPR detector. If you want to further narrow down the engine's mask area, or to separate it in the case of multiple detectors, you can draw a mask for the detector as well, otherwise this is not necessary. If Hardware (GPIO port) trigger mode is used, then IO detector must also be added and the necessary settings made. Further IO Input and Output settings can be done in Settings, IO menu. If you want to create Motion events, you have to set up the Motion engine in the Settings, Detectors menu. The events creating we need to add a Motion detector in addition to the engine settings. Thanks to its 8 megapixel resolution, Einar can cover 2 lanes at the same time. Event’s data • ANPR data • Number plate data in UNICODE text • Location of each plate on one image • Country and State • Time stamp • Image (event and cropped license plate) • Video (short mp4 video of the event) • Direction • (optional) background color, character color and category of the plate • (optional) MMR data (make, model, color) The results stored on the storage device can be retrieved from the Event and Playback main menus. Details of the events can be seen in the right column. Event packages can be downloaded separately. With different filters, you can easily search in the event list.
