Efficient Box Forming Packing and Sealing for Food | Flex E Pack | Daiya Foods

Wexxar Bel partnered with Shuttleworth Conveyors to provide a complete packaging solution for Daiya Foods, a producer of dairy-free foods. With the Flex E Pack, Daiya Foods was able to have one person forming, packing and sealing the box in an efficient and ergonomic fashion. In the video, a Shuttleworth conveyor is used to deliver product to the operator at an ideal height for packing to minimize strain and motion. When the operator is finished packing, they hit the foot switch which sends the packed case into the BEL 252 tape case sealer which automatically folds the top flaps and seals the case. The DEKKA 500 case former then forms the next case and delivers it to the packer to start packing the next box.
