Water Base Printing can bring big value to your print shop. To some it's intimidating, but if you've got the right water base printing set up, it's a breeze. Literally! The key to curing water base ink is the evaporation of the water itself. When Golden Press Studio got in their new Riley Hopkins Forced Air Flash Dryer it made flashing simple. It works wonderfully for both plastisol and water base printing as the air being pushed through creates a heat curtain that pushes all the way to the edge and distributes for more evenly (bigger sweet spot to flash). While it helps with moving away WB vapors, it does the same with moisture coming off the garment (cotton). This helps to heat more evenly. It's also more stable in areas that have a slight draft.
