Between all the Keenway washing machines I have, this one is the queen, the most powerful, but the loudest of all, cause of the heavy and thick drum.🤣 This is the first real Keenway I had in my life. Manufactured in 2002, she came into my house in 2004. I think this is the best model with the best coloring, like a candy. Even tough it's working like a charm, she has been through a lot of repairs in the past years. See, old Keenway washing machine models often have a very common factory defect, which prevents the drum to turn freely or correctly. This defect could mean in a really loud grinding noise, and the drum doesn't turn, or it just gets stuck or it turns slowly making the internal motor struggle. In my case, I had the worst problem, obviously. Grinding noise caused by a crooked drum axis which caused the gears to wear out over time. It wasn't fixable in the best way. To fix the problem definitively, I managed to replace the entire drum with another one from an old discolored Keenway I only use for replacement parts, and there we go. Fixed! The first video i uploaded on this channel on june 2016 is about this washing machine before it would start with that grinding noise and get fixed.
