Take a tour inside this Gloucestershire located prison. It was built in the late 1780s and finally finished in 1792. On completion it contained: ✔️ Prisoners house ✔️ Reception rooms ✔️ Chapel ✔️ 3 blocks of accommodation Get a closer look inside: https://www.prisonhistory.org/northle... -- Rosalind is on a hunt to expand her ever-growing database that comprises the findings and history of locally situated lock-ups. Lock-ups were most commonly utilised to temporarily imprison misbehaving drunks overnight, although they were also used to accommodate those on long journeys away from home.
