This video is a continuation of the multiplication and division videos. It teaches learners how to cube numbers. National Curriculum Objectives: Year 5: I can recognise and use square numbers and cube numbers and the notation for squred and cubed. Year 6: Applying knowledge of square numbers to area, and cube numbers to volume. KS3: Use integer powers and associated real roots (square, cube and higher), recognise powers to 2, 3, 4, 5 and distinguish between exact representations of roots and their decimal approximations. CfW Progression Step 3: I have experienced and explored simple multiplicative relationships that allow me to discuss the properties of number, including factors, multiples, prime and square numbers.
