My first day EVER visiting the Grand Canyon National Park was jaw dropping with a fresh layer of snow along the Canyon. There was a decent snowstorm the evening prior to my arrival which made all of the trails/walk ways pretty icy and snowy. I opted for this hike along the Rim Trail with almost no elevation change to keep it easy on day 1. Both spots (Mather Point & Pipe Creek Vista) are bus stops so you can make this hike one-way by taking the bus back. I hiked there and back to really enjoy the stunning views, but unfortunately I didn’t bring an extra GoPro battery in my bag like I thought so my footage ends right before reaching Pipe Creek Vista.
