The Korean car manufacturer has just announced that the latest vehicle in its stable to undergo an N Line transformation is the Tucson—a crossover. This means the vehicle is now inside the company’s N stable, next to the i30N launched in 2018. ou get a couple of choices underneath the hood, including the 2.0-liter CRDi introduced to the Tucson last year, a 1.6-liter gasoline, and a new mild-hybrid option featuring a 48-volt lithium-ion polymer battery. The last one’s capable of 182hp—the most oomph of all three options—and is supposedly 11% more efficient than its traditional counterparts. The suspension has seen a bit of tinkering, too: It’s 5% more rigid in the back and 8% up front. Headlights get black bezels and unique DRL designs, and the 19-inch alloys, rear spoiler, and side-mirror housings now come in glossy black.
