My full build and paint process for the Victrix Norman Warband! The Stormin’ Normans! I walk through assembly, basing, how I approach painting a whole army, how I tackle chainmail, freehand shields, banners, and finally the showcase. If you are looking for ideas on painting Normans or want a closer look at the Victrix kit, this should help. Victrix Normans are often used for historicals like Saga, Pillage, and Hail Caesar (Which I am eager to start) but I’m using them for general tabletop and RPG play. I am especially excited to break them out for D&D and I’ve already used them in Warlords of Erehwon! This is my first time working with Victrix minis and they are fantastic. Great sculpts and a fun painting challenge, even with the mountain of chainmail.
