Strengthening the GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) through the Use of Gender Fair Communication and the Application of GFPS Functionality Assessment Tool Language, media, and culture play an essential role in transforming traditional notions on sex and gender and in promoting a positive and empowering view of women, men, and persons of diverse SOGIESC. Designed to promote gender sensitivity, this special webinar session endeavors to promote gender sensitivity in the workplace and a keen interest in consuming cultural and media products that are non-discriminatory to women. It enables the importance of gender-fair language in day-to-day discourse. Moreover, it aims to develop an understanding of the standards on gender-fair communication and how they are applied in creating gender-responsive content for various audiences.
