For episode 19 we reached out to Alex Gay who works at Ride with GPS (‪@ridewithgps‬). They provide the software and app that we use to share the routes with our riders so they know where they are going throughout their bike tour. Alex gave us a very thorough education on using their great route planning and navigation tools. He also gave us tips on conserving your phone battery while using their app. He told us about some of his favourite cycling memories from recent years, and I also asked Alex what (if anything) have we lost in our progress from paper maps towards GPS in navigation for cycling.
