This Draw-Tite Ball Mount is gonna be for your inch and a quarter hitches, and you wanna make sure that your hitch is a Class II hitch, 'cause this is gonna need a Class II hitch, so you're not overloading your vehicle or the hitch. This ball mount's gonna be for you if your trailer is almost perfectly level. In the rise position, we're gonna have a 5/8 inch rise, and if we flip it over, we're gonna have an inch and a quarter drop. It is gonna come with a hitch pin and a clip, so that's nice that they threw that in. The diameter of the pin hole is 1/2 of an inch, and one thing it is not gonna come with is the ball, so we do wanna look at the coupler on the trailer you plan on hauling and make sure you get the right size for it. When it comes to this, the diameter of the ball hole is about 3/4 of an inch. The distance between the hitch pin hole and the center of our ball, on this ball mount, it's about seven inches. We do wanna check our trailer and make sure that the gross trailer weight isn't going to exceed 3,500 pounds, 'cause that's the capacity of our ball mount, and when it comes to tongue weight, the capacity is gonna be about 300 pounds. If you do need a little bit more rise or drop, we do have a lot of ball mounts here, pretty much all of them are gonna be made of steel with black powder coated finish, so if you need a little bit more or less, this one's gonna be a little bit better for that, just because it is gonna give us a little bit more rise and drop. Just know we have so many ball mounts, so it all just depends on your vehicle and your trailer, so definitely take all the information we're giving you here and make the right decision for your setup. And it all comes down to just making sure that you're gonna have the right rise and drop, you're gonna have the right capacity, and that your vehicle can really handle that weight.
