This is tango nuevo, finding modern existentialist answers to desire, passion, love, comedy, tragedy, and –well- economic conditions. That also includes the sensuality you feel when you cut yourself with a knife, to remind you that existence can be as well a thorn field as a bed of roses. The good news is that you can still dance to that tune. Don’t take it too gravely. Astor Piazzolla and Richard Galliano titled the CD on which this piece appeared first „El sueno de una noche verano“, „A Midsummer Night's Dream“. I wanted to get a bandoneon, but the bandoneon shop had ceased to exist. This is a simple old school acoustic cover, an improvisation played without sheets and without electronic gimmicks.
