Interestingly enough, today ps4 system update came at the same time as an over 7Gb update on Killing Floor 2 for me at least. Once the system had downloaded and installed both, i wanted to check what was new on KF2 for such big update: A new map named The Tragic Kingdom, an abandoned amusement park which has few traps one can activate once one has activated the generator to power them up. Also has a topical new "circus" music track and as most of the music in the game, metal version which is quite cool all and all. Some new objectives which include completing all waves on hard or higher, playing some carnival games (toss dosh to the "sink" and the game starts) and once you've completed them all you get Hazmat suit. Also some prize tickets are given occasionally but no idea of their purpose yet. Also there is a new Weekly mission which currently requires to kill many Fleshpounds on almost all 7 waves on suicidal difficulty and Kingpound as boss fight. haven't gotten through yet at least. What to notice also is the new outlook on all the Zeds and currently isn't limited to only this map. Basically they are the same zeds but they look different and topical to a circus theme and also sound different, like Siren "scream" is now lower pitch moan-ish sound. Scrake (Gorilla outlook) has different global sound when entering and it also moves like a gorilla. Solo run on hard and 10 waves from my gameplay. Though i prefer multiplayer on this game, wanted to check the new map on my own first. Literally second time i played this map so don't know everything about it. I even happened to find 1 collectible. Should look around more to find more as i haven't looked up any collectibles guides for this game, for example all collectible trophies i've gotten so far are when other players have found them whilst i've played with them. On ZED landing i have found way beyond 9 collectibles all over the place on my own though, sort of easy to catch when you have seen all corners of the map so many times. Been playing on Survivalist now since i've maxed out FIrebug and Berserker and still haven't gotten through a single game of 'Hell on Earth'. Also played quite far with Commando just now but noticed that i like Survivalist more since it has better benefits in my opinion and can mix and match guns without losing precise XP kill rewards or Perk benefits. This game is growing on me almost more than it did originally, really fun activity to past time while i just wait.. and wait for money so i can buy fucking food and pay bills (some production stuff are only dreams now). Although i have played the game too much already so it truly starts repeating itself already even though i have changed Perks. The new map is cool addition and still i haven't experienced all that the game has to offer. For example Until Dawn was a big new free PSN game this month which seems cool story based make your choice game (whilst trying to give jump scares that i don't seem to get so easily), and yet i still play more KF2 currently.
