KRUMP’ARCHIVE.32 - my very first documentary (Belgium) Krump isn’t “just dancing” anymore. It’s a living culture, a community, and an ecosystem of people who help the movement grow together, often behind the scenes. For the past few years, I’ve been filming the Krump scene in Belgium from the inside. Not only the battles and sessions, but also everything you don’t see: the preparation, the energy, the connections, the work, the sharing, the love, and the respect that keep this culture standing. This documentary highlights the intimate side of Krump. Behind the movement, you’ll discover the roles that help the culture grow: dancers, organizers, DJs, photographers, videographers, choreographers, communication/design… Everyone contributes in their own way. And without this collective effort, Krump wouldn’t be where it is today. The film is built exclusively from archive footage filmed over the last four years, following part of the active community in Belgium. Credits + participants tagged in a pinned comment. Depuis quelques années, je filme la scène Krump en Belgique de l’intérieur. Pas seulement les battles et les sessions, mais aussi tout ce qu’on ne voit pas : la préparation, l’énergie, les liens, le travail, le partage, l’amour et le respect qui tiennent cette culture debout. Ce documentaire met en avant l’intimité du Krump. Derrière le mouvement, on découvre les rôles qui participent à faire grandir la culture : danseurs, organisateurs, DJs, photographes, vidéastes, chorégraphes, communication/design… Chacun apporte quelque chose à son échelle. Et sans cet effort collectif, le Krump ne serait pas là où il est aujourd’hui. Le film est construit exclusivement à partir d’images d’archives filmées ces quatre dernières années, en suivant une partie de la communauté active en Belgique.
