🚨 Spearman City Council Meeting Audio: Police Chief Pay + Budget Approval 🚨 We’ve posted the latest council meeting audio, and one part of the discussion deserves close attention: police department payroll and oversight. Council members pressed the City Manager about the Police Chief’s pay, including questions about a salary increase, stipend/overtime-style payments, and how hours, comp time, sick time, and holiday time are being tracked and approved. The City Manager acknowledged he “dropped the ball” on monitoring it and said changes will be needed moving forward.
