The government is pushing ahead with the Hunter Coast Offshore Wind Project, which is expected to create 3,000 construction jobs, and the wind farm is expected to generate enough electricity to power more than four million homes. Community concern over the renewable energy project is not going away but is escalating as protests against the wind farm will take place in Port Stephens next Saturday.
