I've had my Tormach CNC Mill for a while now and I thought I'd do a follow up video on what I think of the machine. This video ended up being a lot of explaining little things I've changed but I hope you get a feeling for what I think of this machine. For the tool holder forks I mention in the video you can go to my channel to watch me make one (though my process has changed a bit from then). You can get a set of these tool holder forks through my Etsy page here: https://garagescience.etsy.com/listin... It seems clear that just as the Personal CNC (ie. PCNC) name for the 440 suggests, this mill is intended for home use on small scale projects. I hope what I've conveyed in the video is that it is capable of far more than that. In fact it can do large workloads at a small scale and with a few minor tweaks here and there you can get it to work very efficiently. Apart from what's covered in the video there's been no mechanical or electrical issues with the mill. I've kept it filled with way oil and cutting fluid and it has run and run without issue. If there was an improvement I'd suggest it would be to implement a BT style spindle. BT30 is the smallest size I'm aware of. But maybe a custom BT20 size just for the 440.
