Day 3 – Boudenib to Merzouga (180 km) I set off alone this morning. Aurelien didn’t feel comfortable riding in sand, so I decided to go ahead solo. The route turned out to be incredibly fast and flowing — one of those stages where you can really enjoy the rhythm of the trail. There are only a few sections of deep sand near Erg Chebbi, but they’re short and overall not too demanding. I covered the 180 km pretty quickly and actually arrived in Merzouga even before Aurelien. A smooth and satisfying day of riding! Day 4 – Rest Day, Dunes & Storms We decided to take a break, partly because of the worsening weather and partly to rest and explore the dunes. Early in the morning, I headed straight toward the Great Dune with the bike. Thunderstorms were approaching fast, and I wanted to see if I could make it to the top before the weather turned. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to summit — both because of limited time and because I didn’t want to overstress the bike. The journey was still long, and if you’re not experienced riding big twin-cylinder bikes on dunes, things can go wrong very quickly. In the evening, we went for a camel ride to watch the sunset. The sunset itself was absolutely stunning. That said, looking back, I’d probably skip the dromedary experience next time. It’s a bit overrated and honestly quite boring — an SSV or a quad would be much more fun. To make things more memorable, my camel got seriously agitated on the way back and threw me off the saddle. I landed hard on my back and carried that pain with me for the next few days. Adventure, speed, sand, storms… and a rough landing. That’s Sahara life. 📍 Route: Boudenib→ Merzouga (TMT) 180 km 🏍️ Motorcycle Adventure / Off-Road 🏜️ Terrain: desert tracks, rocky sections & fast pistes 🧭 Trans Morocco Trail – Day 3 #TransMoroccoTrail #MoroccoMotorcycle #MotorcycleAdventure #OffRoadRiding #AdventureBike #DesertTracks #ADVriding #MoroccoOffRoad #OverlandMotorcycle #DualSport #AfricaOffRoad #MotoAdventure #ktm #honda
