From the drone, everything looks spectacular, but the lack of investment in recent decades is affecting the quality of life and the overall appearance of the city. We filmed the former factories on the cliff that are now a ruin, the lighthouse, the administrative buildings and the wild beach, the one from the mouth of the Danube into the Black Sea. Some 12,000 people inhabit the Delta area, living in 28 villages and one town (Sulina). Sulina is a unique and picturesque city located in Tulcea County, Romania, and is one of the easternmost settlements in the country. It holds special geographical and historical significance due to its location where the Danube River flows into the Black Sea. The city is part of the UNESCO-listed Danube Delta, one of the largest and best-preserved deltas in Europe, renowned for its rich biodiversity and stunning natural landscapes. The Danube River, the second-longest river in Europe, flows through ten countries before emptying into the Black Sea through three main distributaries: Chilia, Sulina, and Sfântu Gheorghe.
