SUBSCRIBE 🛎️ In May 2024, I began my dream of walking the Camino de Santiago, taking on the legendary Camino Frances. I wasn’t sure if I could walk over 500 miles across Spain, but I had to try. For 40 days, I hiked through villages, cities, and forests—grateful for the strength to do what I love: travel and walk. On June 21st, I arrived in Santiago de Compostela, overwhelmed with emotion. Lying in front of the cathedral, I thought it was over—but I knew deep down, it wasn’t. Despite foot pain and the challenge of budgeting for more travel, I decided to walk further—to the Camino Finisterre, the path to the “end of the world.” This quieter, more reflective route was everything I needed. Lush, peaceful, and full of beauty, it felt almost tropical—reminding me of Costa Rica. One of the highlights was a stunning hidden beach where I swam with my Camino friend Holly, whom I met on day one in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port.
