And what a time for it, leading the league by 4 points with just 4 games to go, with a win today putting them one step closer to that elusive first ever J. League title. No pressure lads. In the end though, it proved to be light work, and that is 100% because of the Vissel fans. Supporters in Japan are well known for their passion, but the turnout today was incredible, with non-stop bouncing, singing, and celebrating for 90 minutes. Incredible scenes. After the fantastic experience I had seeing them last year I do of course have a soft spot for Kobe, but after experiencing something similar again today and learning that the Vissel fans are all generally awesome, I am really, really hoping they close out the league in style. Also, big shout out to Ken - he travels the country to watch Vissel home and away, never missing a game. Absolute legend.
