Recognizing early the gaps in her community’s food system, she chose action over apathy. In 2014, she began organizing locally and building partnerships rooted in equity and sustainability. She co-founded the Chattanooga Community Co-op alongside like-minded leaders to advance community-led solutions. Nikki is currently a member of CALEB and an ambassador for Moms for Social Justice, continuing her work at the intersection of food, justice, and collective power.
