Vainglory - Learn To Lane: WP Joule Gameplay (Update 1.21)

In this series of Vainglory videos, I'm going to be narrating live games with a focus on education for playing in the lane. These aren't perfect games but hopefully you learn a few things that you should and shouldn’t do while playing. In this video I'll be playing Weapon Power Joule. Melee heroes sort of feel out of favor in the last few updates but the good part about that, is a lot of people aren’t used to playing against them in lane at the moment. What’s nice is melee heroes often have more health then ranged heroes which allows them to take a few extra hits. Unfortunately you often need to be pushed up in lane when farming so you’re likely to be a good target for ganks. What makes Joule a solid melee lane hero is she has the ability to farm from a safe distance with here thunderstrike ability. Then, if she gets into trouble she can quickly jump to safely with Rocket Leap. If you’re playing a melee hero in lane be aggressive as soon as you hit level two, most of the time you’re damage output is going to be higher then the enemy hero and you can pick up a kill.
