A Sabbath Morning of Renewal It was the dawn of Sabbath, December 20, 2025. Sister Sofonie Dala rose early, her heart filled with gratitude and determination to walk in the footsteps of Jesus. With quiet reverence, she prepared herself for worship, knowing that each Sabbath is a gift—a reminder of God’s creation and His rest. 🕊️ Worship in Cazenga’s Cariango Church That morning, she visited a small Seventh-day Adventist church in Cazenga, known as Cariango. Though modest in size, the church was alive with faith. The walls echoed with prayers, and the congregation gathered with one purpose: to glorify the Lord. Growing Where God Has Planted Sister Sofonie reflected on the meaning of being present in that place. Though the church was small, the Spirit was mighty. She realized that growth is not about where we wish to be, but about flourishing where God has placed us. Just as a seed grows when planted in good soil, so too must believers grow in the communities and circumstances God has chosen for them.
