My father was a member of Alhaji Kolington Ayinla’s band as a drummer and also played for many great Fuji artistes. Music runs in my blood. I also started as a drummer, but life took me through different paths. At a point, I was selling planks to survive until I met a friend who happened to be Alhaji Bayo Ojuyobo’s brother. He advised me to stop the plank-selling job and focus fully on my music. That advice changed my life and led me to one of Alhaji Ojuyobo’s producers, and that was how my Fuji music journey truly began.
