The second day, 28th November 2025, began with Parampara Pragati Prasthan — a grand procession celebrating our deep-rooted cultural legacy and the spirit of progress. The campus resonated with the powerful beats of Dollu Kunitha, performed by the renowned Bhoodiyappa Dollu Kala Thanda, Sagara. The ceremonial lamp, symbolising knowledge and prosperity, was lit by our distinguished guests — Padma Shri Murlikant Petkar, Padma Shri Amai Mahalinga Naik, Smt. Shakuntala Bhandarkar, Shri B.K. Deva Rao, Smt. Kavita Mishra, Shri Divakar Channappa and our respected Director Smt. Suseela Santhosh. The dignitaries were warmly felicitated, and our students had the privilege of listening to their inspiring journeys and invaluable life lessons. Farmers Shri Dodderi Prakash and Shri Doddaballapura Babu were felicitated for their exemplary contributions to society. The Prize Distribution Ceremony for IDEATHON, a vibrant inter-school competition celebrating the spirit of Jai Jawan, showcased a spectacular array of innovative events. The audience was then captivated by a thrilling performance of Kalaripayattu by the Madras Sappers — HQ (MEG & Centre). The campus also hosted the National Conference on Agriculture and Technology (NCAT – 2025), bringing together scientists, experts, young innovators and future thinkers in the fields of agriculture and technology. The Guests of Honour, Dr. Kesavan Subaharan, Principal Scientist & Head, ICAR–NBAIR, and Dr. S. V. Suresha, Vice-Chancellor, UAS GKVK, graced the occasion with their valuable presence. Students from various schools presented research papers highlighting creative and practical solutions for sustainable living, showcasing remarkable scientific thinking and a strong commitment to building a better, greener future. Throughout the day, students remained energised through powerful Harate Sessions conducted by Padma Shri Murlikant Petkar, Padma Shri Amai Mahalinga Naik, Shri Divakar Channappa, Smt. Shakuntala Bhandarkar, Smt. Kavita Mishra, and Shri Dev Rao. Their engaging interactions left the young audience motivated and deeply inspired. As evening approached, the venue came alive with an exhilarating jugalbandi between the Dollu Kunitha and Kalaripayattu troupes — a rhythmic and visual spectacle that even had the oxen swaying to the beats! The campus welcomed enthusiastic visits from parents, students and distinguished guests who experienced the rich heritage and invaluable contributions of our soldiers and farmers. The grand finale of Day 2 was the much-awaited concert by Ricky Kej — Padma Shri awardee, three-time Grammy Award winner, Indian music composer and an environmentalist. His electrifying performance filled the atmosphere with rhythm, energy and pure musical joy as the audience cheered and swayed to every beat. Day 2 concluded on a powerful note — filled with pride, patriotism, and a joyous celebration of our nation’s soldiers, farmers, culture and innovation. #vishwavidyapeeth #vvp #vvpicse #vvpcbseylk #vvpigcse #vvppreprimary
