I've settled back in to my everyday life but can't help but wish I could go back watching my footage. I've unfortunately learned that bottled soymilk from the supermarket does not taste like the real thing -- not sure i'm deep in enough to get a soymilk maker, but i'm considering it! In this video we took a (failed) trip to the Traveler's Notebook partner store in Taipei, visited our first cat cafe, went to Tianmu to visit my boyfriend's old neighborhood and swing by the Shilin Night Market, and on our last night in the city, we were lucky to watch the Taipei B-Boy City competition in the Xinyi Shopping Area while we were just lurking around. I'm not gonna lie, I was shocked by how much the Shilin Night Market has changed--it seems much quieter and my spring onion pancake stand wasn't there anymore! Sure, we came on a Thursday, but it was packed with tourists any day before.
