I was asked if I thought studios were dying in today's music industry. I give you 9 reasons and services that suggest they are not! ABOUT ME I am a freelance Session Musician and Music Producer from Scotland. I am also a part time College Lecturer and Live Sound Engineer. Music is my life. I play guitar for British Sleaze Rock legends Dog’s D’Amour and my 20 year career has seen me work with artists such as Idris Elba, Mica Paris, Albert Lee, Focus, Simon Hanson (Squeeze), Mark Stanway (Magnum), Warner E Hodges, Davey Pattison (Robin Trower), Paul Jones (Manfred Man) and 100s of established and up and coming UK bands. I have also made music for national TV including BBC’s Benidorm, Made in Chelsea and The Commonwealth Games. And, of course, I have been in many bands and written music since I was a teenager!
