IMPROVED VERSION AVAILABLE AT THIS LINK:    • M.V. Balmoral first ever sailing from Rye ...   We join M.V. Balmoral at Rye Wharf on the River Rother for a cruise to London Tower Pier in June 2006. After leaving the wharf Balmoral cruises down the long straight channel that leads to the sea. The pilot launch picks up the Rye pilot and Balmoral then cruises along the Kent coast past Dungeness, Folkestone, Dover, Ramsgate and North Foreland. The cruise continues into the Thames estuary past Reculver Towers, Southend-on-Sea, Tilbury (and its now-demolished power station), the QE2 bridge at Dartford, Woolwich Ferry, the Thames Barrier, the O2 arena and the Cutty Sark. The cruise ends after we pass through Tower Bridge and Balmoral arrives at London Tower Pier.
