2Go Systems Velar Bivy and Hybrid Field Blanket test

I am testing and reviewing the 2gosystems.com Velar UL Bivy bag and Hybrid Field Blanket in below freezing temperatures overnight. The bag and blanket did great! I was super happy at how well and how long they kept me warm while the temps were below freezing. However the tie outside on the bag ripped and made the bag no longer water proof. I talk to 2Go and they said the tie outside are suppose to use shock cord and I used solid stakes.
