Water Runoff No Till VS Conventional Till

in this video I just show some difference in the runoff from no till to conventional till. the runoff from the plowed ground was rather shocking because of the flat nature of the field. the fields that I showed that where my fields the slopes where 2 to 3 times greater with little to no runoff. even though there was an apparent wash out on the one field the water was running clean and it was near that the erosion was minimal. the goal I have for these farms is to increase the topsoil and make the land more productive with less inputs from commercial sources. I think I am off to a good start in my attempt to do better. but I am sure I will be told im an idiot and ill be back to plowing in no time at all. or within 5 years. my long term goal with all my land is to increase the organic matter and allow the soil to become like a sponge and have no runoff in 1-3 inch storms. that is a good goal and it is achievable with good practice and cover cropping systems. I feel in 5-10 years I will be able to grow my crops with a greatly reduced dependency on the commercial fertilizer pant and see little to no negative effects in drought situations with the increased organic material. heavy biomass to cover the soil during the cash crop growth will reduce my need for multiple uses of herbicide. thanks for watching and if you read this whole thing Type Theresa Is Cool In the comments.
