The Sweetest Valentine Envelope Clutch Made from a Pillow Cover & One Unique Shape

My Valentine heart vinyl was supposed to be here… and it still hasn’t arrived 😩💌 So instead of waiting, I got creative. In this video, I turned a thick white canvas pillow cover with the sweetest embroidered hearts into a beautiful Valentine envelope clutch. What makes this design extra special is that it’s constructed from one unique main shape that folds into the envelope silhouette. No complicated panels. Just smart construction and clean lines. I even reused the scalloped edges from the pillowcase on the flap to give it that soft romantic detail. The gold grommets and snap closure elevate it and give it that boutique finish. This is a beginner friendly sewing project that can be made on a domestic sewing machine or an industrial machine. I used Decovil Light for structure and fusible fleece on the lining to give it body without making it bulky. The finished size is 8” x 5” and it perfectly fits a phone and small card wallet. It is the sweetest little night out bag.
