Why study Computer Science at UCD?

The UCD School of Computer Science is a friendly and welcoming place to study, with high standards. We took the opportunity to talk to some of our students as they received awards for their outstanding achievements this year. We wanted to hear about why they wanted to study computer science at UCD, what was their experience and what they would say to anyone considering it. The interviews were filmed at the UCD College of Science Undergraduate Awards on Saturday 26 March 2022 at UCD. We asked them questions such as: What subjects are you studying and which courses did you most like? How did you decide to study computer science? What influenced you? What else did you consider studying at university? What's it like studying at UCD? What are your plans for after you graduate from UCD? What would be your top tip for any one in secondary school considering studying CS in university?
