The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has said he no longer takes photographs with random individuals. This move comes after a photo of him and a suspected fraudster was used in a viral documentary about fraudsters who defrauded a Romanian lady of $2.5 million. The photo showed the fraudster posing with the IGP in his uniform. Some analysts say fraudsters take photos with important personalities to give a false validation to their line of business. The viral documentary also shared photos of the suspected fraudsters with other notable Nigerians including businessmen and entertainers.
