Watch this video to check the real temperature settings of the Pax 2 Vaporizer In this video, we are going to be debunking the mystery surrounding Pax 2 temperature settings. We contacted Pax's customer service and asked them about the temperature of each setting. Unfortunately, we were left with a range of 360°F - 420°F max temperature. Let's see what's going on under the hood. Staring off with setting 1, we're going to be using the temperature probe on the side of the bowl. This will give you the hottest temperature that your herb will be vaping at. As you can see it heats up to about 355°F when not in contact with the lip sensor. After about 20 seconds, it begins to cool down up to about 300°F. The weird thing is once you touch the sensor on setting 1, the temperature goes all the way up to 390°F. Let's test temperature 2: As you can see the temperature hit 390°F again. This shows that setting 1 and setting 2 are both vaping at a range around 355°F -390°F. But setting 1 does boost up to 390°F only when drawing from it. Let's try setting 3: It looks like this setting goes all the way up to 420°F which is quite hot. Finally, we have setting 4. As you can see in the video, it goes all the way up to 447°F, which is a lot hotter than Pax 2 claims. But after a few seconds, it drops down to 425°F. So in this test, we have learned that if you are a medical user or looking for a vaporizer with a specific temperature controls, we would not recommend this vape to you. The temperature is quite varied when you draw from the unit and based from experience using it, you get very inconsistent hits when drawing multiple times. Thanks for watching!
