We just officially signed the purchase agreement for our Alaska off-grid cabin 💚 and it happened on our anniversary! It couldn’t be a more fitting start to this next chapter of our lives together. With the papers signed, we packed up and headed out to see what we actually bought — and there are plenty of unknowns waiting for us. The trails are completely overgrown, the generator and mowers haven’t run in years, and even the trailer tires need air before we can get anything moved. In this video, we spend our first full day at the property bushwhacking through the wilderness, figuring things out as we go, and getting the old equipment back to life. It’s the beginning of our off-grid adventure, one challenge at a time.
