Mostly European countries met today and pledged more support for military aid to Ukraine. This was in contrast to the US effort - where Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff, who had previously expressed his support for Putin's position - went to meet Putin for talks that the Russian side said were not expected to produce any breakthroughs. Meanwhile, Trump still wants Ukraine's minerals, and for some reason, they still seem inclined to treat him as though there's something in this for them. It's getting tense. Let's discuss.
