University of Iowa Mubeen Research Group Overview

The Mubeen Research Group is led by Prof. Syed Mubeen. The group works at the convergence of electrochemical engineering and systems materials engineering to accelerate practical solutions towards societal impact. Driven by students and postdoctoral researchers from diverse areas of sciences and engineering discipline, their research is focused on developing novel sustainable energy and water technologies and emerging biomedical devices. Mubeen has a faculty appointment in the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at the University of Iowa College of Engineering and is a faculty affiliate with the Iowa Technology Institute. The University of Iowa Technology Institute, formerly the Center for Computer-Aided Design, is a world-class research hub founded in 1981 at the University of Iowa.
