The Best Coastline in Cyprus?! | Limassol Best Things To Do

Welcome to Cyprus! In this video we are exploring Limassol. more specifically, one of our favourite stretches of coastlines we have found so far! Home to ancient sites, beautiful coastal scenery, shipwrecks and many more amazing things to do in Cyprus! Timestamps: Intro - 0:00 Kourion Archaeological Site - 0:30 Sanctuary Of Apollo Hylates - 2:58 Cape Aspro Hike - 3:35 Akrotiri Shipwreck - 7:29 We begin this video at Kourion Archaeological Site, one of the most important ancient sites in Cyprus. there are so many buildings to explore here and the well preserved mosaics are reason enough to visit Kourion! But if that wasn't enough the views down the coast from here are incredible, you can see all the way down to Cape Aspro (which we are exploring later in the video). after this we headed to the Sanctuary Of Apollo Hylates, one of the most important religious sites in ancient Cyprus, and certainly one to visit! It may be smaller than Kourion but is the perfect add on location if you want even more beautiful ancient buildings. Next, we begin our hike that we heard was one of the best hikes in Cyprus! now this is a pretty impossible thing to determine, but we tried out the hike and you can decide for yourself... but what I can say is that the scenery here was absolutely mind-blowing! for our final stop of the video we rushed to the Akrotiri peninsula because we heard about a surreal shipwreck (and we also heard that the sunsets are amazing here). We managed to find the Akrotiri shipwreck just in time for sunset and were blessed with the most beautiful sunset we have ever seen!
