Balasore District Magistrate Suryavanshi Mayur Vikas announced that the upcoming cyclone is expected to make landfall in the Sadar region, with heavy rainfall predicted by the IMD. A yellow alert is in effect from October 27–29, followed by an orange alert on October 30. The administration has activated 24/7 control rooms, rescue boats, and health facilities. Measures include shifting pregnant women, preparing dry rations, and warning fishermen to avoid the sea.
