"The Coast of the Gods" is the name by which a stretch of the coast of the southern Tyrrhenian was christened, extending from Pizzo Calabro to Nicotera, falling entirely in the province of Vibo Valentia - Calabria Region - Southern Italy. It is the part of the coast that delimits the so-called Calabria horn, a stretch of coast that has about 55 km of coastline that presents itself with a varied morphology. With long white beaches and crystal blue seas, jagged rocks follow each other, creating small coves accessible only on foot or by boat. The coast is also called "La Costa Bella" due to the suggestive views with the Aeolian Islands that are only 32 nautical miles away. Starting from the north the municipalities that fall on this stretch of coast are: Pizzo Calabro, Vibo Valentia, Briatico, Zambrone, Parghelia, Tropea, Ricadi, Joppolo and Nicotera.
